2010. Greyboard, steel cabinets.
[l:60, w:45, h:110cm]
Bearing a direct visual influence to
the ancient stone cities of Cappadocia, and built from horizontally-stacked
greyboard; a series of rooms and connecting passageways cut partially from
memory and partially from a process of building on what has gone before.
Akin to 3-D modelling, the spaces
are built from accumulative cross-sections, and are therefore dependent on the
shapes and structures that must join and make ‘sense’.
